Xansa as part of a consortium led by Lockheed Martin UK has been shortlisted by the Office for National Statistics (ONS) to compete for the UK census 2011 programme.
Both shortlisted teams will take part in a Field Test project in 2007 ahead of the prime contract award, which will be decided by the end of next year.
Xansa became strategic partner of the ONS in April 2004 and has been supporting them in their strategic Modernisation Programme ever since. The partnership has developed software for the modernisation of their statistical processes. Xansa has been successful in transforming their IT skills, methods and processes, enabling them to improve operational performance whilst reducing their cost base.
We are proud of our three year working relationship and long term strategy with the ONS. We look forward to our membership of the Lockheed Martin consortium and the opportunity of working closely together in delivering added value to the ONS
