Xansa is pleased to announce that Northern Ireland Water Service, an Agency within the Department for Regional Development, have exercised their option to extend the scope of their existing Contact and Billing implementation contract.
The extension to the contract worth £22 million over a seven year period continues the development of a mobile work management solution. The initial contract was awarded in January 2006 to the Xansa led consortium, Crystal Alliance.
Commenting on the announcement Alistair Cox, Chief Executive, Xansa said:
This contract builds on the success of the Xansa led Crystal Alliance in winning the contract to provide the new customer billing and contacts system to Northern Ireland Water Service. Xansa's IT and process expertise combined with the specialist capabilities of the consortium partners will deliver industry-leading standards of service, fast local response to customer enquiries and continuous improvement in standards of service provided. The mobile work management solution contract is a clear endorsement of the work we have completed to date and the partnership we are building with Water Service. It also provides further evidence of Xansa's strengths in integrating IT and business process outsourcing and in our capacity to manage and lead the consortium.
