A new European telecommunications company wanted a quick launch for its mobile offering to compete in an established market.
Our Approach
To accelerate speed to market, Xansa worked with the company to share its knowledge of telecoms business processes and systems development and implementation.
Making it Work
Xansa used this knowledge to build a technology system based on the model used by the parent group, but specified to meet specific needs. We set up a project support office to co-ordinate progress and identify areas for special action or attention.
Our team also implemented and integrated state-of-the-art financial, customer care and asset management applications, and a system to manage a cellular network covering more than 2,000 base stations. And we helped to ensure that the distribution channel could meet potential market demands and not lose customers to the competition.
Delivering Results
Our telecoms SAP specialists implemented the core application in just seven weeks. This included formulating the business processes linked to the SAP system and implementing the core software. Building on the success of this work, Xansa also implemented a SAP sales distribution and logistics system.
