Xansa volunteers based on a client site in Chesterfield have forged successful relationships with four local schools. Programmes include interview skills development at the Springwell School and mentors at Parkside, Brookfield and Newbold School where volunteers have committed to mentor a child, over the course of three years. An additional 16 Xansa volunteers participate in a 'buddy reading' scheme with the Parkside School, committing to working with individual children weekly over the entire school year.
