Xansa's support of the Rajender Ashram is one of our longest-standing community initiatives. The Rajender Ashram runs an orphanage for homeless boys. When they turn 16, the boys leave the orphanage to seek jobs and a life in the community.
We partnered with a local Non-Government Organisation (NGO), the Vigyan Vijay Foundation (VVF) to develop a Life Skills programme that helps the children to prepare for life outside of the Ashram. The children receive training in computers, basic accounting and bookkeeping skills. Monthly entrepreneurial workshops are provided in financial accounting, marketing skills, product placement and market research. For students over the age of 15, we provide training and assistance for A+ certification, a globally recognised certificate course enabling the holder to enter the IT market.
