We are expert in the BI elements of the ERP suites from SAP and Oracle, but our best of breed experience extends to Microsoft, SAS, Business Objects, Cognos, Hyperion, Kognitio, and beyond.
Track record
Boots - As part of one of the world's largest SAP IS-Retail implementations, an enterprise-wide Business Intelligence environment was established using SAP BI to provide access to information for Finance, Human Resources, and Marketing. This included the integration of electronic point-of-sale (EPoS) information from all retail sites amounting to millions of records for each day. A targeted stores portal was provided to store managers to specifically inform them of the performance of their stores with supporting information to allow them to target areas for improvement. Four releases of the SAP BI solution have been delivered at Boots to-date using our shared service capability. The majority of the Support Team is Indian-based.
BT - BT relies on Xansa to maintain and support its information systems for its regular book closure activities across the financial year. Xansa managed the full programme implementation and post go live support for a Hyperion Reporting Applications and Oracle solution. The solution has transformed BT's reporting and forecasting capability, enabling accurate forecasting from CEO level down to business unit managers.
Royal Mail Group - Business Intelligence was used to report on the human resources management of the organisation's nearly 200,000 Employees using SAP BI. This included detailed breakdown of their weekly remuneration lines resulting in terabytes of data over three years of history. This was required to be integrated with existing SAP BI solutions and legacy reporting and recording tools. The solution was rolled out to 3,000 line managers across the group to provide access to information previously irretrievable in legacy transactional processing systems.
Xansa support two other SAP BI solutions at Royal Mail Group. These include their environment for financial reporting, comprised of SAP BW and SAP SEM, used for transactional reconciliation through to business consolidation. The revenue management environment is also used to process the enormous volume of orders that the Royal Mail Group take on a daily basis.
