Xansa has played a pivotal role in the creation of a leading e-Government service that we can be proud of.
Graham Jack, Project Manager, Department for Work and Pensions
Having worked with public sector clients for over 20 years, we remain evangelical about the benefits of technology, and the capacity of intelligently applied, IT-driven processes to modernise public services.
Xansa has a successful track record of working in partnerships with public sector organisations, and in collaboration with best of breed suppliers for world class delivery. Many of our people have worked in the public sector themselves, so we have a real understanding of the pressures you are under, and the imperatives that drive publicly funded initiatives. That is why we construct flexible and innovative commercial deals, often reflecting shared risk and reward.
We recognise that much of your policy-level strategy is already set. That is why we are pragmatic and realistic in the advice we offer. Most significantly perhaps, we know that, with £20 billion of savings to be met over the next 2-3 years, only suppliers with a genuinely outcome-driven approach need apply.
Our dedicated Government Consulting Group has helped to make Xansa's name by facing up to challenges like this, and by delivering positive answers to even your most difficult questions.
Client focus:
Making data make sense
Xansa has been the strategic partner of the Office for National Statistics (ONS) since April 2004, and has been supporting them in their strategic Modernisation Programme ever since.
Working in close partnership we are helping them to develop a new generation of statistical systems, whilst enabling them to transform their IT skills, methods and processes. Through our IT and process expertise we are working together to put in place the framework and capacity to enable them to meet the challenges of the future.
Cutting costs for The Club
Xansa has launched and will manage a single internet platform for three government departments known collectively as 'The Club'. Through this contract - the first of its kind in the public sector - we will provide a fully managed web and content management service to Directgov, the Department of Health, and the Department for Education and Skills. The result: reduced costs, common functionality, a lighter resource burden and accelerated time to market for all three - and potentially a whole range of other Government departments and agencies that could benefit.
