Between 2003 and 2005, a major programme of parallel strategic SAP projects for Boots was resulting in major implementation costs. To reduce them, Xansa and SAP worked closely with Boots to create a Technical Shared Services Centre (TSSC), delivering managed services for diverse applications across all projects. Incorporating Indian integrated delivery, the TSSC delivered an overall cost saving of 20%, plus improved quality, operational effectiveness, project control and visibility.
