Working closely with Microsoft technologies, Xansa created for the Department of Work and Pensions a website that enables job-seekers to find the details of the jobs they're interested by using their own words. Using a new search mechanism based on natural language it now attracts 600,000 page requests every day, placing it among the five most used government websites. It has won many awards, including Government Computing Best Partnership Project in the Public Service and a British Computer Society Award for Innovation.
